Studio Tip

Make Circles and Ovals from Papers and Photos

Drag your paper or photo onto your page, then click on it. Go to your Tool Box and move the Round Corner slider or toggle until your image reaches the desired appearance (Note: to save time, you can just type in 1000 & hit enter). One important note is your photo or paper has to start as a square to get a circle and as a rectangle to get an oval.

Two ideas for creating a square photo:
1) Put a square shape or any paper onto your page, lock the image, then just swap your photo into it. Adjust your crop area if needed before rounding. (Note: all paper/cardstock is a 12x12 square)
2) Place your photo on the page and then use the crop tool to create a square. You might want to use the Ruler to help ensure a perfect square.
